Yes we do have in place a money system with you earning money for each post you make (I have it set up so games do count but please don't just spam the occ section to get money) as well as earning money for being a part of certain plot events later on.
There will be a store to actually spend money on items that would be useful put in place soon. Until then the money is just there to look pretty.
Also these are things you can already spend money on to make happen...
Marriage/Parternship: Yes this place does have Gay Marriage and yes it isn't free. 1000 smackeroos from each partner is required...is it excessive? Most definitely but that's just how it works right now.
Healing/Hosptial: If your character is injured there is no fee for a check up but if they required anything more than gauze one of the medics will have to charge you between 20 to 50 dollars depending on the severity.
